Explorer
Ask a one-off question — freely combine a metric, a breakdown, a time axis and filters, then save it as a report or open it as a dashboard widget.
Every fixed report page answers a question someone chose in advance. The Explorer is where you ask your own: pick the metrics, the breakdown, the time axis and the filters yourself, and Tugus draws the answer live. It runs through the same engine as every dashboard widget, so anything you can put on a dashboard you can first try out here.
Where to find it
In the sidebar under Commerce Visibility, open Explorer (next to Analytics, Reports, Realtime and Events).
Ask a question
The answer fills the page; the question is assembled in the Analysis panel, which opens from the button in the top bar (and opens on its own when you start with a blank question).
Choose metrics
Pick one or more metrics — grouped by area (Commerce, Conversions, Traffic, Delivery …), e.g. purchases, revenue, unique visitors, delivery rate, ROAS. At least one metric is required. Several metrics become a multi-value tile or a multi-series chart.
Add a breakdown (optional)
Break the metric down by one or more dimensions — channel, campaign, device, country, landing page, event name, platform, and more. Combine two breakdowns for a pivot (e.g. channel × device).
Add a time axis (optional)
Set the time axis to day, week or month to turn the answer into a trend. Leave it off for a single value or a ranking.
Pick the display
The display follows from your selection — the chart picker only offers the charts that fit (a value, a trend line, bars, a donut, a table, a pivot). Give it a moment and read the live result.
Refine the answer
The same Analysis panel carries everything that narrows or reshapes a question:
- Compare — add a comparison period (e.g. previous period) to see the change.
- Segment — apply a saved segment to restrict the whole question to a subset of events.
- Filters — add conditions on any dimension (e.g. channel is paid, country in DE, AT, CH). Known values appear as a dropdown; otherwise type the value. Multi-value operators take a comma-separated list.
- Sort & rows — for a ranking, sort by a metric ascending or descending and cap the number of rows (e.g. Top 10 campaigns). A fixed row limit turns a long table into a Top-N view.
Every question respects the same permissions and data limits as the rest of the dashboard — the Explorer can't reveal a metric your account isn't allowed to see. It also uses the dashboard's selected time range.
Share, save & export
- Shareable link — the whole question lives in the page's address. Copy the URL and whoever opens it sees the same analysis (recomputed on their data access).
- Save as report — Save as report stores the question (not the result) under a name and optional folder. It's recomputed each time it's opened, and it appears afterwards on the Reports page and in the Explorer's Saved question picker. Shipped templates live in the same picker.
- Export CSV — CSV downloads exactly what's on screen.
Open in Explorer
You don't have to start from a blank page. Across Tugus — a row in a traffic or campaign table, a dashboard widget, a saved report — an Open in Explorer action jumps straight here with the question pre-filled, including the filter for the exact row you clicked. From there you can widen it, add a breakdown, or save it as your own report.
Every Explorer question is just a saved query. The same data is available through the Analytics API for your own tools.
