Why don't I see any events in the live stream?
Check the checklist under Check events — most of the time the script is not loaded, the API key is wrong, or consent has not been granted.
Is my customer data passed on to the advertising platforms?
Personal data (email, phone, name) is automatically SHA-256 hashed before being forwarded. The platforms only receive the hashes for matching, never the plaintext data.
Does Tugus count events twice if I also use the Meta Pixel?
No — Tugus deduplicates events automatically (via event_id/order_id), so
that browser pixels and server events are not counted twice on the platform
